I have taught more than 18 years in non-traditional, private, and public education. 

Bio

“It’s a rabbit!” my father said as he removed the stomach contents of the rattlesnake we were dissecting on our kitchen table. This and many other unique childhood experiences molded me into a curious, lifelong learner.

After college, marriage, career and motherhood, I decided to educate my own children.  Realizing my love of teaching them, I began substitute teaching to determine if I might like to teach professionally. I thoroughly enjoyed it.  That led me to get my masters in biology education. 

Recognizing the importance of the junior high school years, I chose to teach this age student.  I'm thankful to be part of the Dauphin team of junior high school teachers!
