Amy Essig
Hello! My name is Amy Essig. I am teaching 7th grade ELA. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with Reading and ESOL endorsements from Northwest Florida State College. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in ESE with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis at The University of West Florida. This will be my 9th year teaching. Before this year, I spent 7 years teaching at a middle school in Florida.
My husband, Jack, and I have a total of six children, two daughters-in-laws, two grandchildren, and one more on the way! We are a military family and have children spread around at different bases.
I am so excited to be part of the Dauphin team this year and look forward to meeting all of you very soon!
