Mrs. Crystal Edgar

Hello! My name is Crystal Edgar and I am excited to be the Library Media Specialist for Dauphin Junior High School. I am married to Mark Edgar and we have two precious children, Nicholas and Emma. When I am not teaching, I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family. I look forward to getting to know all of you and your children this school year!

I began my teaching career after graduating in December of 2008. I took a long-term substitute Kindergarten teacher position at Thompkins Early Childhood Center in Ozark, AL. I became a fifth grade teacher in the fall of 2009 for Mixon Elementary School in Ozark.  I stayed in the classroom for two years before transferring to the position of Library Media Specialist in 2011.  I was the Library Media Specialist for Mixon from 2011 – 2013 and Hillcrest Elementary from 2013 - 2022.  I started at Dauphin in August of 2022 and am excited to be a part of Dauphin Junior High. Go Fins!
