2024 All-District/All-State Auditions
2024 All-District/All-State Auditions will be on Saturday, January 27th at Coppinville Junior High School. Students will be responsible for their transportation to and from auditions.
All State Auditions consist of scales (performed from memory), prepared pieces, and sight reading. The required scales can be found below. The prepared exercises for all wind players and String Bass come from the Rubank Advanced Method Vol. 1. I have a few school copies that students may use, but I highly encourage students to buy this book if they are able. It is an excellent practice resource for them!! The book is available from Art's Music Shop in Dothan or via Amazon or other online retailers. The cover should look like this:
