Boys and Girls Athletics
Qualifications: Students of all races are encouraged to participate. No student shall be excluded from participation in, or subject to discrimination in any program or activity of the Enterprise City Schools on the basis of sex, race, religion, belief, national origin, ethnic group, age, or condition of handicap.

1. An 8th Grade player cannot be 15 before August 1st.

2. An 9th Grade player cannot be 16 before August 1st.

3. Students entering Grades 8 and 9 must, for the last two semesters of attendance and summer school, if applicable, have a passing grade in five (5) subjects with a composite numerical average of 70 with all other rules applying the same as to students in Grades in 9-12. (See Board Policy)

4. Athletes must pass and return a completed physical exam form on the first day of tryouts as prescribed by the Alabama High School Athletic Association.

5. Students must try-out, and be selected for basketball, volleyball, and cheerleading. Try-out dates will be announced.
